Day 1 Learning Outcome:
- Learn about social and emotional milestones in student’s growth and challenges they face in managing emotions.
- Recognize the influential role of teachers in nurturing students’ social and emotional well-being and learn strategies for creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Reflect on their own emotions and behaviors, gaining self-awareness of their impact on students.
- Understand the impact of thoughts and emotions on student’s behavior and learn techniques to address emotions effectively.
- Acquire methods for expanding student’s emotional vocabulary and promoting empathy in the classroom.

- Introduction to cognitive-behavioral strategies for student’s social and emotional development.
- Learn strategies to assist student in regulating emotions, including mindfulness and relaxation techniques.
