This two-day training program is designed for educators and school professionals to help them effectively support students dealing with mental health challenges. The training integrates Next Generation’s Nation Social Emotional Ethical and Logical Learning (NGN-SEEL) principles to prevent mental health issues in the school environment.

Day 1 Learning Outcome:
– Understand mental health issues in students and the stigma around them.

– Recognize warning signs of mental health challenges like depression and anxiety.

– Learn communication strategies to engage with these students.

– Get introduced to NG-SEL principles.

– Learn crisis response basics.

Day 2 Learning Outcome:
– Explore practical strategies for the classroom.

– Learn how to create individualized support plans for students.

– Understand the importance of collaboration among educators, counselors, parents, and the community.

– Recognize the importance of self-care for educators.

– Practice using role-plays and case studies to apply knowledge.

By the end of this training, participants will be better equipped to support students with mental health challenges using NGN SEEL, creating a healthier learning environment.
